office and bedroom pieces, all of which ooze natural character.

WHAT’S THE VIBE? Angela Reed shops, found in Cambridge and Saffron Walden, have their roots in an old family business, dating back more than 139 years, with the first physical stores opening in the 1990s. “Our emphasis has always been on quality furnishings and accessories,” says owner David Reed. “We go the extra mile to source interesting and different items, which you simply don’t find elsewhere. I’d like to think anyone can discover something in one of our shops that they like.” WHAT IS THE ETHOS? Now run by the fifth generation of the Reed family, the company prides itself on its personal service. “We offer a level of service that is rare these days,” says David. Stocking a cornucopia of home furnishings and decorative objects, you can find Parker Knoll sofas and bird feeders; textiles and framed artwork. GO HERE FOR... WHAT’S GOING TO BE BIG IN INTERIORS NEXT YEAR? “There will be a growing focus on

sustainability and eco materials, with an increased awareness of the need for sustainable supply chains,” says David. “Another growth area is outdoors. When it warms up, people want to relax outdoors, using comfortable furniture that’s not out of place in a chic living room.”
