WHAT’S THE VIBE? Mineheart is a Cambridge-based online store and a design ‘wonderland’ of wallcoverings, art and accessories. “We offer a whimsical surreal world where anything is possible and nothing is quite expected,” says a Mineheart spokesperson. WHAT IS THE ETHOS? “Since our first wallpaper, which became a product purely by accident, the idea behind Mineheart was to create a playground for creativity and adventure, where fantasy meets design, and dreams meet industry. We try to inject a sense of wonder into everyday objects and the spaces around us, telling stories and creating objects that are far from ordinary,” says the brand’s spokesperson. Mineheart strives to support British manufacturing and is constantly looking to reduce the environmental impact of its products and materials used. Mineheart wallpapers are all made in England, for example, printed using minimal low VOC inks, and for every roll of wallpaper sold Mineheart plants a tree in areas of Africa affected by heavy deforestation. GO HERE FOR... If you want to add a unique, artistic touch with a creative feel then the Mineheart art designs are a great place to start. They were happier using their facial muscles as, by smiling and doing certain facial expressions, you can reportedly actually feel happier. DON’T LEAVE WITHOUT… One of the scented candles, which contains wax produced from soya beans – a natural, renewable source – making the candles 100% vegan and 100% paraffin free. The sweet, cashmere-scented version has creamy vanilla and musky notes running through it, and is encased in a metallic gold and glass jar with frosted detailing.
