Once you’ve saved a bank of these settings, you can create stunning photos straight out of camera. Try preparing recipes for a variety of moods and lighting scenarios – perhaps something warm and vivid to make the most of naturally colourful scenes or more muted and stylised for overcast days with flat light. Cameras with a Film Simulation dial – like the FUJIFILM X-E5 and X-M5 – can store user recipes to the custom FS1-FS3 slots, so you can select your favourites even when the camera is off. X Series cameras feature as standard up to 20 Film Simulation modes – retro-inspired colour profiles drawing on Fujifilm’s experience of producing analogue film stocks since 1934. On top of this, our cameras feature a range of image quality settings that allow you to customise these profiles – you can add film grain, adjust your tone curve and set custom white balance settings to refine your look.
