Definition January 2021 - Web

This month, we indulge in our fascination with the royal family and look at the visual evolution of every season of The Crown. Interestingly, with each cast and era change, Adriano Goldman changes his lenses – and, for this first time in four seasons, his camera also gets an upgrade. Also in this issue is a Definition first: a roundtable with five leading rental companies who banded together to help us determine the future of video production. Similarly, on the topic of the future, we explore how HDR is shaping every step the creative process and determine the pros and cons of the industry’s biggest buzzword: virtual production. For good measure, we’ve also got a gear review of Red’s spunky new camera, the Komodo.
