En pointe image wins best in show Stunning monochrome shot of a ballet dancer honoured by Leamington Spa Photographic Society
A striking studio portrait of a ballet dancer snapped up the
one landscape and one arts-inspired image, reflecting two sides of Roberts’ creative passion. In the end, Riordan’s expressive, elegant composition took the honour, and was presented with the trophy at the opening of the photographic society’s annual exhibition. Visitors to the free show in Leamington explored more than 150 prints and 70 digital images from the club’s 100 members, covering all styles, from macro and natural history shots to portraiture, landscapes and local scenes. lsps.org.uk
