CHRISTMAS LEFTOVERS
It’s your last chance to catch a Christmas show for 11 months, while other Christmas attractions will soon be gone too. City centre skating at the North Pole closes at 9pm on 5 January… so literally get your skates on. St Petersburg Ballet is at the Corn Exchange again over the New Year period; you can see Sleeping Beauty on 1 and 2 January, and Swan Lake on the 3rd and 4th. The Arts Theatre’s traditional panto this year, Cinderella ,
finishes on 11 January, while slightly alternative panto option The Wind in the Willows remains at Cambridge Junction until 5 January. At Anglesey Abbey, Tinsel and Tweed continues until 5 January. It’s a chance to step back to the 60s. Revel in festive smells and glitzy vintage decorations in the domestic wing, while the rest of the house is dressed-to-impress for his Lordship’s Christmas celebrations.
