THURSDAY, 13 SEPTEMBER 12:45-1:15PM FROM EPIC POETRY TO AI: Discovering viable algorithms for creating responsive media (Lounge Talk) A new addition to the conference programme for 2018, over breakfast and during each lunch break, IBC Conference will host Lounge Talks in the Forum Lounge with the aim of engaging audiences on a thought-provoking topic and providing an informal networking opportunity over coffee and a stroopwafel. 4:30-5:45PM TRUST AND TECHNOLOGY, TELLING THE (REAL) NEWS (Global Gamechanger) Mainstream news providers have taken a battering, with clickbait, fake news and bias all competing for attention in social media feeds. MONDAY, 17 SEPTEMBER 9:30AM-10:15AM TACKLING THE IMPOSSIBLE (Innovation Keynote) Impossible.com is an innovation group and incubator founded by Lily Cole and Kwame Ferreira. Its multi-disciplinary team, spread over different countries all around the world, are using design and technology to solve social and environmental issues and guide global change. They work with like-minded people, producing deep tech and planet- centric services and products. The panel will focus on their planet-centric design ideal and how individuals and companies can innovate in a more balanced way with the planet. This panel will feature Michiel Bakker, founding CEO of GINX Esports TV, the world’s largest international esports TV channel; Pete Thomas who heads up the esports arm of Noah Media Group, responsible for the groundbreaking Gfinity Elite Series; and Technology Ambassador for ESL UK, Tanya Laird.
