LOCAL NEWS LIVES
Although local news was found to be a leading disseminator of misleading information regarding Covid-19, it was nevertheless a trusted source for people throughout the pandemic in 2020. Another report from the Pew Research Center surveyed 10,139 US adults between 20-26 April 2020 and 9,654 US adults between 4-10 June 2020. Nearly half of them named local news as a go-to source for Covid-19 information.
