With improved built-in image stabilisation technology called HyperSmooth, and fantastic wind noise reduction thanks to its three-mic processing, the HERO7 Black is ideal for times when you’re working in wet and windy conditions. Completely waterproof at depths of up to 33ft/10m, you definitely don’t have to think twice about taking it out in the rain. Featuring GoPro’s own GP1 processor, the camera is able to shoot 4K video at 60 fps with the capability of 8x slo-mo. Like its predecessor, the HERO7 Black is voice activated, so you can easily shout commands at it on the move while Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, auto off-load features, removable batteries and an updated interface all ensure that it’s easy to connect to – and all making this an excellent camera for difficult-to-achieve shots. It could also serve as a very capable B cam.

Sennheiser is known and trusted for its reliable sound gear, and the company’s MKH 8060 shotgun RF condenser microphone is no exception. Its highly compact metal housing, plus the addition of an RF circuit, ensures that it’s extremely weatherproof, while its super-cardioid design, low distortion and low self-noise creates a very natural sound in all kinds of conditions. Although it’s not brand new to the market, the 8060 has become recognised as producing a much more forgiving sound than its predecessors, with a great capture of off-axis sounds. The 8060 is also perfect for mounting onto a DSLR or professional camera, thanks to its compact design and short body, unlike its brother the MKH 8070. Also being part of the 8000 series, the 8060 is modular in design and can be taken apart to have other modules attached, expanding its versatility and functionality still further.
