Sarah Bonelle brings joy to our plates with another creative summer recipe, using locally sourced produce CAMBRIDGE Cooking up

T o me, summer cooking and eating is all about big sharing platters of vibrant colours and exciting flavour combinations. One of my favourite places to visit in Cambridge to soak up some inspiration is Burwash Larder: a modern, super-trendy farm shop and deli, set in the courtyard at Burwash Manor.

red onions, whole broad beans, fresh tarragon, raw apple cider vinegar and a jar of black tahini. I used the Leech & Sons butchers for my chicken legs, so I was sorted in one shop! Then it’s time to cook, assemble and serve up for summer joy.

It’s an absolute pleasure to browse here; even without knowing what you want, it somehow whispers a touch of magic into your basket. The staff are just as obsessed with food as the customers, who come to indulge in local produce, artisan products and those important little everyday staples.
