ARRI Arri highlighted Orbiter and its entire LED portfolio, with a focus on fresnel and projection optics. Visitors experienced how Arri’s IP-based LED lights deliver cinematic images and efficient workflows. Its flagship large format cinematography cameras, the Alexa 35 and Alexa Mini LF, featured alongside a workflow station on Reveal Color Science. Signature Prime and Zoom lenses – and new Impression V filters – were on display with the Zoom Main Unit ZMU‑4, which seamlessly transitions between wired and wireless configurations enabling versatile, clutter- free camera builds with faster on-set workflows. And finally, its Tally System Gen.2 and Camera Control Panel Live solutions make Trinity and Artemis stabilisers even more suitable for live, multicamera environments. arri.com
ASTERA Astera is bridging a significant gap in the LED-based fresnel lighting market with the introduction of the compact Plutofresnel and larger Leofresnel. These lights offer the benefits of LED technology, such as lower power consumption, higher output strength, precise colour control, lightweight design and installation flexibility. The Plutofresnel achieves the equivalent of a 300W tungsten fresnel while drawing 80W, and the Leofresnel achieves an output equivalent to 1000W while using 250W. Both lights offer a beam angle of 15° to 60° without colour fringing, enabling use in contexts from stage lighting to film and documentary production.
