The curtains have fallen on Cine Gear LA Expo, with many exhibitors and attendees describing it as the best to date

N ormal service resumed for the Cine Gear LA Expo 2023 as it returned to its spiritual home, the Studios at Paramount, after spending 2022 at the LA Convention Center. The four-day event (1-4 June) featured exhibits, product and service introductions, complimentary seminars led by industry leaders and masterclasses, as organisers made sure attendees were treated to the best the industry offers. Juliane Grosso, CEO of Cine Gear Expo, says she’s thrilled to reflect on the tremendous success of the 2023 event. “This year’s expo surpassed all expectations, with attendance larger than ever. The energy and enthusiasm among the participants was palpable, and it was inspiring to witness the passion for the industry,” she says. “Our seminars saw record-breaking participation, with experts and visionaries sharing insights and expertise. The exchange of knowledge was truly remarkable, fostering growth and collaboration among attendees.” Grosso explains one of the most rewarding aspects was the satisfaction expressed by the exhibitors. “Their

again this year – they weren’t wrong!” exclaims Ben Dair, chief product officer, Motion Impossible. “Cine Gear LA was fantastic for us as we introduced two new product lines, Agito Cine rental for film production, and ReACTIVE with Brownian Motion for stabilisation camera rigs of 360 plate production. Both products created excitement and curiosity.
