readily available option: sodium. Compared to lithium, sodium cells provide a safer, more efficient and longer-lasting power solution. This makes Salt-E Dog the smart and sustainable choice for powering cine equipment.” Another interesting innovation is the Blueshape Granite Link app. Imagine being on a job and needing to check the battery life of your camera while you step away. This software allows you to effortlessly connect to the Blueshape battery and gather valuable information about its charge level, pack voltage, current load, estimated time until depletion and cell temperature, as well as both its remaining and full- charge capacity. Are you fully charged? Read on to see how you can power up your filmmaking game with some of these innovations.
Unlike commonly used gas generators, the Salt-E Dog produces no hazardous carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide emissions, resulting in a safer production experience with cleaner air. Its silent operation and compact design make it ideal for placement near the production site, eliminating the need for long or hazardous cables and reducing the need for ADR work. The Salt-E Dog also offsets greenhouse gas emissions and enables productions to save 2.6kg of CO2 and associated nitrous oxides per litre of fuel. “Until now, productions have relied on gas generators, designed for heavy industries with less sensitive equipment, or lithium-based power supplies,” says Andrew Hutton, product manager at Anton Bauer. “We are using a more sustainable and
