Hawk-Woods Hawk-Woods has taken the next step in miniaturised power with its X-Boxx Mini Floor Battery. This compact, lightweight battery box offers impressive features and capabilities. The design is smaller and lighter than its predecessors and competitors, making it highly portable and easy to handle without compromising power capacity or performance. Despite its compact size, it packs an impressive punch, holding up to 880Wh. One standout feature is the refined graphic display, allowing users to monitor their power usage with ease. It provides essential information such as remaining runtime, battery voltage and accurate charging status. The X-Boxx Mini offers four outputs for different equipment requirements – two XLR four-pin 14v nominal and two XLR three-pin 28v regulated chassis-mounted connectors. Such versatility ensures compatibility with a wide range of professional film cameras and lighting equipment.
PAG The Mini PAGlink Cinergy battery enables Mini PAGlink batteries to be combined in series, for powering high-voltage cameras like the Alexa 35. The new 99Wh, 14.8v Cinergy incorporates an optical sensor: the customer fits a ‘pattern label’ to the battery mount on the high-voltage camera, in alignment with the sensor on the battery. When connected, the sensor identifies the label, enabling the battery to combine its output with that of any Mini PAGlink unit linked to it. Output is limited to 28v (two packs linked in series) regardless of the number of batteries in the stack. The Mini PAGlink Cinergy will be available in V-Mount and Gold Mount formats from Q3 2023. “Mini PAGlink Cinergy batteries can double the voltage by adding an adjacent battery,” explains Stefan Czich – UK sales manager at Aspectra BV. “A benefit of this is that customers can use existing MPL batteries to power 14v and 28v cameras.”

Bebob Bebob’s new B480cine is described as ‘the most powerful B-Mount battery to date on the market’. In addition to an industry-wide unique capacity of 475Wh and maximum load capacity of 20A (continuous current), it also scores with 14.4/28.8v dual-voltage capability and 450W continuous power output – as is the case with the complete Bebob B-Mount portfolio. This makes the B480cine an ideal power supply for particularly power-hungry 12v and 24v equipment on set – easily replacing additional large and clunky on-ground batteries, especially for 24v accessories.

These seamlessly integrate into your battery fleet as they can be used at native 14v or 28v. The series is available in B-Mount, V-Mount and Gold Mount up to 367Wh. They’re equipped with features including a runtime LCD display, RFID, storage mode plus USB and P-Tap outputs that can run a low-voltage device even while the battery powers a high-voltage camera. Furthermore, with Core SWX’s new GT8 Sub60 charger, you can simultaneously charge up four 98Wh Helix Max packs in under 60 minutes.
IDX The IA-200a from IDX is a dual- output 100W power supply with a universal AC 100-240v input. It features two XLR outputs which will draw 100W in any combination from two channels, or 100W from a single channel. Other key features include a metal enclosure, built-in carrying handle and automatic overload protection. A four-pin XLR power supply connector cable (10 ft), CA4XLR-B, is sold separately.
