Sports at Stoke College are great and there is something for everyone. The grounds are vast, and good for cross-country. We do hockey, netball, cricket and basketball – and there are other options such as table tennis in the after-school clubs. Science and ecology have always been important to me and that has been encouraged at Stoke. I’m also in the ecology club and we’re working hard to make Stoke as eco-friendly as possible. So if I had to say my favourite things about Stoke College, it would probably have to be everything, from the other students, to the fun we have in art, drama, music and various clubs, and the teachers who make hard subjects easy to understand. Stoke College is where I belong. It’s a truly happy place.

MY FAVOURITE THINGS ABOUT STOKE COLLEGE BY LEXI HESKINS, YEAR 7 It’s honestly very difficult to pinpoint just exactly what my favourite things are. Whether it’s the amazing friendships I’ve made through being here, or how kind and supportive the teachers are. I can proudly say Stoke College has it all. We may not be the biggest school with the most pupils, but the grounds are beautiful and there’s so much space to go and have fun at break. I have always loved art and drama. At Stoke, the art department is awesome – we have a superb teacher and we do really fun and interesting things. It’s the same for the drama department, our drama teacher is inspiring.
