ambridge City Foodbank is appealing for a little extra festive shopping to create Christmas hampers for families who struggle

fancy sweet biscuits; Pringles or similar; cheese biscuits or similar; nuts; dried fruit; tinned ham; tinned tuna/salmon; sweet pickles; jam; shower gel or shampoo and Christmas crackers. Make sure all items fit in one bag, there are no perishables and use by dates are 25 December or later. The times to drop them off are 8 December, 2 to 7pm, and 10 December, 2.30 to 7.30pm, at Unit 2, Orwell House, Cambridge, CB4 0PP. Search Cambridge City Foodbank for more information and to register before the drop-off dates, so that the team can plan for how many hampers they can supply.
