A show is a great opportunity to check out new gear, and that goes for printers as well as cameras and lenses. The charm of printing is the physicality of seeing images on paper, so head to the Epson stand, where you’ll be able to do exactly that. As all the products will be there to demonstrate, Epson is encouraging visitors to bring along a test file to print, letting you check out crucial aspects like colour, definition and printing speed. Among the range will be Epson’s latest range of professional printers for

commercial photographers. These include the soon-to-be-available SureColor SC-P8500D six-colour 44in printer and SL-D1000A MiniLab, which offer the quality to help photographers of all genres increase their profit through print sales. At the more consumer end, you’ll also find award-winning models like the A3+ SC-P700 and A2 SC-P900, as well as the 12-colour SC-P7500 printer and family- friendly A3+ EcoTank ET-8550. For film users, Epson will also be showing its A4 Perfection V850 Pro scanner.

Fujifilm fujifilm.co.uk

There’s a lot to celebrate for Fujifilm this year – not least the tenth anniversary of its groundbreaking X Series. Yes, the original X-Pro camera launched in 2012, along with a selection of beautiful prime lenses. It has since been joined by a host of other bodies, all sticking to the central principles of superb image quality from the innovative X-Trans sensor and refined handling. Yet, of course, Fujifilm’s offering is far wider than that, and its stand at this year’s show will demonstrate everything the company offers in photo taking and picture making. As well as the complete X Series range of cameras and lenses being available to try, there’s also the amazing GFX Series – with its latest models, the GFX50S II and GFX100S. These larger- format cameras provide a genuine next step for image makers wanting the ultimate in

image quality, without the compromises in handling and size that bedevil traditional medium-format bodies. Make sure you give one a try and bring your credit card to avoid separation pangs. Elsewhere on the stand, you’ll find Fujifilm X-Photographers demonstrating how they work with X Series and GFX Series gear to make amazing images. They will also showcase the seamless connectivity with Fujifilm’s brilliant Frontier DE100 photo printer. That’s right, with Fujifilm also a world leader in photographic printing, there’s a whole selection of print products to discover on the stand. In particular, make sure you check out the unique Fujifilm CX 3240 card printer, which lets photographers turn their best images into greeting cards, thank you cards, invitations and more.
