location context, such as the architecture of the hotel, the quiet pool, the interior of the room and the beautifully lined palm trees. I reserved the FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR for first-person point-of-view angles and tighter compositions that make my work feel more intimate. The XF50- 140mmF2.8 allows me to create anything from lifestyle portraits to details of small moments tied to our lived-in experiences. Q. What is the next milestone you aim to achieve with your photography? A. I’d love the opportunity to be a full-time photographer, working with tourism boards, hotels and lifestyle brands that value emotion-led visual stories and preserving people, places and moments that matter. Q. What advice do you have for those looking to improve their own travel and lifestyle photography skills? A. For your next trip, observing more instead of shooting randomly can lead to a more mindful experience. Capturing a variety of different shots – portraits, corners, textures, reflections, shadows, objects – to create your own nostalgic time capsule will make your memories feel more complete and meaningful when you revisit them later. “EVERY DESTINATION LIFESTYLE SHOOT IS A BALANCE BETWEEN THE REALITY I CAN SEE WITH MY EYES AND THE EMOTIONS I WANT THE PHOTOS TO HOLD”
