IS IT JUST us, or can a photographer never have enough glass?! While it’s easy to be seduced by a new camera body, it’s what you attach to that body that really matters, which is why we have a stellar line-up in this year’s lens categories. From fast wide-angle primes to far-reaching telephoto zooms, our nominations cover all bases. As with previous years, prime and zoom lenses sit in the same categories, which are broadly divided by focal length. As with cameras, a number of these lenses have been with us for while, but there are some new kids on the block, too. As megapixel counts rise, resolving power is severely tested, demanding upgraded optics for better results. Don’t delay, cast your vote today!

A GREAT ACCESSORY will make you a better image maker. However, these extras are often the unsung heroes of the photography world, which is why our awards put them rightfully front and centre! To recognise the increased crossover between the stills and video markets, we’ve got nominations that cover both spheres. As you would expect, bags and tripods feature heavily, but turn the page and you’ll see that this category has also been extended to include microphones and monitors – make sure to cast your votes across them all, if you’d like.
