know whether we have permission to share your film online. Select the categories you’d like to enter and state your role in the production. You can enter as many as you wish – even with the same film. If the judges believe your entry deserves consideration in an extra category, typically a technical class such as lighting, cinematography or sound, they have the right to include it unless you request otherwise. Finally, add a short note about the shoot. Explain any challenges you faced, creative decisions you made or notable achievements. We have made it as easy as possible to enter Pro Moviemaker Filmmaker of the Year. It is completely free. And we know you’re busy, so you don’t need to make or edit a bespoke showreel or a brand-new film – unless you want to, of course! We’d like to see the work that best represents you. It doesn’t matter if it’s for a paying client, a charity, your own portfolio, a passion project or even something shared only on your own personal channels.
