This wonderful village pub has grown an exceptional reputation for its food, drink and modern, relaxed environment. Chef proprietor Harry Alderton has moved this pub/restaurant from strength to strength, serving only the best fresh ingredients cooked to a very high standard. There is a separate bar and restaurant with a beautiful garden and ample parking. Plus, this excellent destination eatery is only 20 minutes from central Cambridge. The Black Horse is open Wednesday to Sunday, serving amazing evening meals, lunch, breakfasts on Saturday mornings, Sunday roasts, and fresh fish and chip takeaways.

Beginning life as a mobile restaurant, Provenance Kitchen opened the doors to its permanent residence in January 2019. Located on a sleepy country road in Whittlesford, Brix & Mortar is a bright, contemporary space with a large dining room, well-stocked deli and gorgeous courtyard seating area. The food is interesting, creative and broadly modern British in flavour, with many ingredients sourced from within a five-mile radius of the restaurant. At the heart of Brix & Mortar is a wood-fired hearth, used to cook beautiful cuts of meat, exquisite seafood and spectacular Sunday roasts.
