These three cameras sit closely to each other, but all of the products bring a different toolset. There are also ample rigging and expandability options. It’s still got ‘cine camera’ tattooed on its sleeve though, and it needs to be treated as such. The workflow is heavier, batteries are drained quicker, incorrect exposure is less forgiving and, to a large extent, accessories have to be used to make the camera usable. articulating monitor. It has industry- leading autofocus, the C300 Mark III’s DGO sensor and uses the least expensive media of the three. Finding itself at the more affordable end of the price bracket, it does leave out some key features, such as Raw capabilities and SDI. Overall, the Komodo, FX6 and C70 are all feature-rich cameras, sitting in a very exciting and blooming section of the camera market. Each offers their own set of tools along with their inevitable compromises. You just have to decide which ones work for you.
