What’s your origin story? Myself and two of my colleagues (all of us formerly of the Unity senior leadership team) decided to throw our combined weight behind a new start-up – Yahaha Studios. Our platform was designed to lower the 3D multiplayer creation barrier and be accessible for developers of all levels. By providing our creators with the right content for the right audience, we can help any user to monetise their designs. What is the company working on right this minute? Yahaha is currently still in the early alpha stage. We’re receiving feedback from creators and growing along with our community. So far, we’ve exceeded the expectations of our user base and found people are really engaging with the platform. To that end, we’re working on more features based on community responses; the team updates Yahaha regularly to satisfy user needs. This enables us to have frequent challenges and campaigns, helping to make creation more fun and showcase what the platform can do. In the past couple of months, Yahaha has announced partnerships with asset designers and AI tools like CG Trader and Dabeeo. We’re currently working on linking up with a 3D asset marketplace, to bring users a new level of creativity. What is the next step? Developing more features to support different genres of game making. We’re also working on

introducing monetisation features for creators – and most importantly, we are always growing the Yahaha creator community. What one thing does the business need most at the moment? The future of Yahaha is creators. We want to engage with as many
creative thinkers as possible to develop the best user- generated content in any metaverse. Continuing to build this
community is Yahaha’s key focus.
