“It is important not to throw too many themes or colour schemes together,” advises Kate Reed from the team at Angela Reed. “You can definitely embrace the festive spirit and have different looks to different rooms – or even have a couple of trees that have their own theme – but don’t mix too many in one space. In previous years we have seen a lean towards minimalism, but this year we think most people will want to be a bit more bold and dramatic – so really go bigger and brighter this year, but just keep your themes in check.”
