But one show in particular
far more than a regional trade show. It is now a gateway to a market in which digital transformation is accelerating at remarkable speed, infrastructure investment is climbing and demand for professional audio-visual technology is growing across virtually every sector. At time of writing, according to the IMF, India’s economy is valued at approximately $4.15 trillion (nominal) and $18.90 trillion in purchasing power parity, cementing its current position as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies. That momentum is now fuelling widespread investment in sectors like higher education, smart workplaces, hospitality, entertainment venues and large-scale public infrastructure. According to the World Bank Group, “India’s digital initiatives are transforming its social and economic landscape. By enabling individuals and enterprises to build digital capital,
these technologies are unlocking entrepreneurship, improving access and strengthening India’s position as a global technology powerhouse.” AVIXA’s Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis report projects India’s pro AV market to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 5.61% between 2025 and 2030, driven by increased investment in digital communication, immersive learning environments and smart infrastructure. This includes corporate campuses, command-and-control centres and museums, as well as retail spaces and live-entertainment venues, where organisations are embracing technologies that create richer, more connected experiences.
