Considerable emphasis is placed on reading, research skills, critical thinking and examination technique so pupils are confident and well prepared for future academic challenges. Oracy and Book Clubs are now included as part of the curriculum too. Wraparound care for day pupils is available from 7.45am until 6pm, complemented by a broad co-curricular programme. Boarding from ages eight to 13 offers a structured, nurturing environment, with flexible arrangements to accommodate contemporary family life. The school holds strong relationships with leading senior schools, and pupils frequently

part of the performing arts provision. Pupils may audition to become choristers or members of our specialist choral programme, the Schola Cantorum, and enjoy the privilege of performing both locally and further afield. Sport plays an equally significant role. From the earliest years, pupils will receive expert coaching across a wide range of disciplines. Competitive fixtures take place weekly, and teams compete in both regional and national tournaments.
