SONY // Booth 247 Sony will preview a range of firmware updates, including Venice 2 v4.1 and Burano v3.0, across a stand organised into four zones: Cine Alta, cine live and documentary, new content creation and podcasting. Each area will showcase the Cinema Line camera range with beta firmware, alongside hands-on demos of the Venice Extension System Mini, the Crystal LED Verona video wall, the new Ocellus camera tracking system and spatial reality display technology. For the first time at BSC Expo, Sony will have a podcast studio highlighting audio, video and workflow solutions for online creators. Sony’s workflow tools such as the Ci Media Cloud will feature throughout, supporting all zones. VIDENDUM // Booth 105 Pay a visit to Videndum’s booth for a look at what’s new from its array of brands in the camera accessories market. The mobile power solutions specialist Anton Bauer will be on hand to talk about innovations, such as the Anton Bauer Fleet Management, which is a free cloud-based system that gives productions, rental houses and broadcasters control over batteries and chargers. You can also check out Avenger’s professional, heavy-duty stands, clamps, arms and accessories, plus Litepanels’ latest LED innovations. There are award- winning fluid heads from OConnor, while Quasar Science is focusing on virtual production lighting with its RR Double Rainbow LEDs, enhanced RGBX colour mapping, IBL workflows and an Ossium Ladder rigging system for lighting banks. Sachtler’s top reputation is visible in its smooth-move fluid head damping, robust build, innovative set-up features and diverse payload options.

NIKON // Booth 8 Nikon has set the filmmaking world alight with its ZR cinema camera, made with expert know-how from its in-house subsidiary brand Red. This full-frame imaging powerhouse can shoot high- quality movies in a massive range of codec choices, including internal Raw versions such as Redcode. Nikon will have a wide range of cameras and lenses on display. RED DIGITAL CINEMA // Booth 22 Red will showcase innovations such as the recently released V-Raptor XE, the latest addition to the Z Cinema line-up, distilling the power of V-Raptor [X] into a streamlined, creator-focused system. Built on V- Raptor [X] architecture, the XE delivers large format, cinema-grade performance, Red’s signature image quality and exceptional dynamic range at a more accessible price. Attendees can also explore V- Raptor [X] and Komodo-X on 14 February, when Red will host a panel examining the interplay between camera teams, cinematographers, directors and stunt professionals in action filmmaking. SIGMA // Booth 408 Japanese optical brand Sigma continues to innovate with some of the world’s best optics – more than 50 stills lenses and 25 cine lenses available in a range of mounts. On the stand will be a wide selection of cine and stills lenses for you to try out in a range of mounts, as well as the new Aizu range of very fast primes suitable for larger-form cameras such as Fujifilm’s GFX Eterna 55 – the very combo that we feature on the cover of the magazine this “Red will showcase innovations such as the recent V-Raptor XE”

SmallHD, meanwhile, the innovator of monitoring solutions from production to post, reveals a new SmallHD Portrait Mode that rotates tools and menus into a vertical layout. While only a small touch, it brings broadcast and cine solutions to wireless monitoring, livestream and production workflows. At the forefront of Teradek’s exhibition space will be the RF-X, which intelligently manages the strongest signal path for Bolt and Ranger. While Wooden Camera, the support accessory designer, will demo its Elite Handheld Accessories for popular brands, such as a special line-up for the Canon C50 that includes a scalable cage system. VOCAS SYSTEMS // Booth 18 Dutch precision engineering company Vocas is a leading manufacturer of high- quality camera accessories that are hard- wearing and work incredibly. It will be showing off products such as its universal camera accessories and more specialised accessories for specific cameras. Look out for matte boxes, follow focus systems, camera support rigs and cage systems, all tailored for compatibility with popular cameras. They are designed and built in Europe and are always a precise fit. ZEISS // Booth 319 Zeiss will have its range of high-end cine lenses, from the Compact Prime CP.3 and CP.3 XD to the Supreme Prime Radiance family, which is famous for its stunning blue flare capability. And of course, the latest range of superfast Zeiss Nano Primes, which are ideal for smaller digital cinema cameras or mirrorless systems, will also be on display. As will the Lightweight Zoom LWZ.3 for Super 35.
