A SMARTER WAY TO WORK IBE Optics’ SmartfinderPro combines the best attributes of a traditional director’s viewfinder and more recent smartphone apps to allow you to see what and how an actual lens will look. The device is designed around an iPhone 7 or 8 Plus and uses an aircraft grade aluminium body, housing a high- resolution ground glass screen and lens mount that accepts LPL and PL lenses. Attach a Super 35, full frame or 65mm format lens to the mount and, using the dedicated iOS app on an iPhone, you’ll be able to see exactly the look the lens offers while also being able to capture screengrabs and video. The design also enables a powerbank to be used with the iPhone to maximise usage.
