Brazenose Violins range, which has been created by violin teacher, luthier and owner of Stamford Strings, Libby Summers. “Brazenose Violins is setting a new standard for student and professional instruments,” she explains. “These are handmade in selected luthier workshops, hand- varnished in small batches – then professionally finished and set up in Stamford Strings’ workshop here in town.” Brazenose Violins, violas and cellos all come in a variety of different models, for every kind of budget and standard of player, with prices starting at £1,500.
