The series won in all seven comedy categories at this year’s 72nd Emmy Awards, picking up statuettes for best lead actor, best lead actress and best comedy. It was a clean sweep for the show, and a historic one at that – breaking a slew of records by becoming the first comedy to win in all four main acting awards and also the most-awarded comedy in a single year. The final series, alongside a behind-the-scenes documentary titled Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell , dropped ahead of schedule on Netflix last month.
