The Isle of Thanet Photographic Society is returning after its summer break, kicking off a new season on 11 September, promising 37 weeks of inspiring talks, helpful workshops, competitions and community events. This year’s line-up features a host of acclaimed guest speakers, including internationally renowned figures such as Antony Penrose – who will speak about his mother, the legendary Lee Miller – and Quintin Lake, presenting his photographic journey around the British coast. Other talks will cover topics like drone photography, landscapes, studio techniques and the enduring appeal of analogue. Kent-based David Jenner will also host a special evening on Photoshop.
