ADVERT I SEMENT FEATURE

Mander Portman Woodward CAMBR IDGE

PW Cambridge has always fostered an ethos of togetherness, working as one to achieve the very best we can. This has never been more evident than over the last year. It is the dedication of all of our staff – from teachers, to administrative colleagues, IT experts, the catering team and, of course, our amazing cleaners, that has shaped the success of MPW Cambridge, helping us to adapt to a new way of working. The tireless efforts of our IT department ensured that we were able to train staff and students to use our online platforms before the first lockdown. This allowed for a smooth transition to online teaching, followed by blended learning environments – all with a maximum class-size of nine students, ensuring that all students were able to access their timetables with ease. In the same way, our timed assignments (weekly tests) and students’ one-to-one, weekly meetings with their personal tutors remained undisturbed. Indeed, never have the personal tutor meetings been more important, guiding students both academically and emotionally through this academic year. We work together with students and parents to develop personalised course structures. From one- to two-year A level courses and GCSEs, we formulate a plan together that will work for them. While our students consistently achieve phenomenal grades, it is the ethos of togetherness that creates a wonderful environment, enabling our students to succeed. If MPW Cambridge’s uniqueness appeals, we would love to hear from you.
