ELSTREE STUDIOS Affording over 60,000 sq ft of filming space, Elstree Studios offers seven sound stages – ranging from 3844 to 15,770 sq ft and up to 50ft in height – as well as a spacious backlot. Elstree Studios is expanding, with the development of two new sound stages, which will open for bookings in 2022. These new state-of-the art areas, at 18,000sq ft each, are ideal for all productions. Elstree also offers extensive production offices, workshops, dressing rooms, wardrobe and makeup rooms, rehearsal rooms, on-site catering and car parking. With 24-hour/seven- days-a-week manned security, together with a comprehensive CCTV-camera network, the studios are specifically designed to give clients total peace of mind during their stay. Elstree Studios is an independent dry hire facility, owned by Hertsmere Borough Council. It is not aligned to any particular network or content provider, and its stages are Studio snapshot
