Staying connected

Vizrt’s broadcast- grade tools are the secret ingredient to effective corporate communication

I t’s no secret that the broadcast and audio-visual (AV) industries are slowly converging, with many companies building corporate studios to host live, hybrid and virtual events – such as town hall meetings, conference calls and weekly webinars – for internal audiences. Though technology is one piece of a sizeable puzzle, Vizrt’s broadcast-grade tools will enhance corporate communication and help keep employees engaged and inspired. “With the ever-increasing accessibility of broadcast-grade tools in corporate studios, executive leaders want to aim higher, boosting interest and understanding with dynamic and interactive visual elements,” begins Chris Black, chief marketing officer at Vizrt. According to Vizrt’s Employee Engagement Report, two-thirds (65%) of surveyed employees agree that receiving business updates via video aids understanding, citing live streams as more effective than other communication methods. Understanding is evidently key to engagement and employee retention. In the same report, 85% of employees said video quality is important when it comes to employer communications; 40% even admitted that poor video quality might make them consider leaving a company. “Overlooking details like lighting, audio quality or set design could distract from your core message,” Black adds.

» A great studio is a living, breathing ecosystem, designed to evolve with your organisation « Tools like Vizrt’s TriCaster, and particularly the flagship TriCaster Vizion, transform corporate live streams into pro-grade productions. By integrating graphics, green screen and remote participants, as well as blending and switching between multiple feeds, TriCaster has helped organisations like Sharp Healthcare, Stream7 and the Nueva Economía Fórum deliver more impact to their hybrid events. “We’re focusing on corporate studio spaces and tools that are highly flexible and intuitive,” says Black, “which means they’re built to be accessible to marketing teams

and executives who use video to tell stories, engage audiences and connect with stakeholders.” Resources like Viz University encourage employers to gain hands-on experience with Vizrt’s products and platforms. Besides being straightforward, Vizrt’s video solutions are scalable so that a company doesn’t outgrow its studio or get locked into certain types of projects over others. “A great studio is a living, breathing ecosystem, designed to evolve with your organisation, your culture, your employees and the stories you want to tell,” Black argues. “A significant part of our professional lives will be spent looking at a screen,” he continues, “and so, with the tools available today, why not make it as engaging as possible?”
