n 1969, while enjoying their holiday in the Las Brisas suburb of Mexican seaport city Acapulco, businessman Enrique Corcuera and his wife Viviana created a game that initially stemmed from boredom. The game was a blend of tennis and squash. Corcuera then modified his squash court to welcome elements of platform tennis, and thus ‘Paddle Corcuera’ was born.
