The CVP-backed Pro Moviemaker Filmmaker of the Year 2026 recognises the creativity, skill and determination that drive modern filmmaking. From compelling documentaries and powerful commercials to music videos, weddings

and social content, this year’s winners showed that a lot of talent exists beyond the world of big-budget productions. After one of the closest contests we have seen, leading the class of 2026 is Ellie Green (right), whose remarkable documentary captivated the judges and secured the win in the documentary class – and also the competition’s top honour as overall Filmmaker of the Year. So, without further ado, let’s meet this year’s winners.
