This year, as a nod to the city’s heritage, The Fellows House is inviting Cambridge locals and visitors to take part in some festive activities over the holiday period. “Cambridge colleges organise Christmas events for their residents – students and academics with young families – and we are taking a leaf out of their ancient books with our events in The Sage,” says Giovanni Valentini, VP of operations. From the end of November, there will be festive fare and fun galore at The Sage cafe and The Folio Bar & Kitchen – from gingerbread biscuit decorating to wreath-making workshops and even cocktail masterclasses. A delicious Christmas afternoon tea will also be available from 25 November to 23 December. Expect a truly scrumptious spread, including wild mushroom arancini, coronation turkey on onion bread, a selection of assorted scones, plus a mouth-watering selection of puddings. A full vegan menu is also available.
