The perfect day Imagine waking up on your wedding day in the comfortable setting of The Old School House Rooms, just as the groom of one recent wedding did in late June. Here, Robert spent a peaceful night along with his family, waking up to a leisurely breakfast that set a relaxed tone for the big day. As the morning unfolded, he prepared for the ceremony surrounded by loved ones, before setting off for the local church just a short walk away. Post-ceremony, the newly married Anne and Robert returned to The Old School House Rooms with their guests in tow for a delightful drinks reception in the charming private conservatory area. This serene setting was the perfect backdrop for heartfelt speeches, creating a joyous and intimate atmosphere for the group. As the day transitioned into afternoon, the celebration moved outdoors to the wonderfully adorned garden. Designed to evoke the atmosphere of a summer garden party, the space was brought to life with hanging baskets filled with beautifully vibrant summer flowers.

everything was perfect for us and our guests. The champagne reception, delicious canapes, barbecue buffet and chocolate fountains were enjoyed by us all. Some of us were fortunate to stay here overnight in one of the lovely rooms – sleeping in the most comfortable beds.
