veryone loves receiving something in the post, right? Not bills, obviously – I’m talking a little monthly pick-me-up, just for you. Whether you love beauty products and trying new things, or perhaps are not sure where to start with makeup and skincare and need recommendations, a subscription beauty box is a fun way to try out products you may not have otherwise picked, and often at a fraction of the cost. I’ve used various boxes over the years and have discovered some of my favourites this way; products I would not have looked twice at but now frequently buy. There are quite a few options on the market, so choose wisely to make sure you don’t end up with products you won’t use. I prefer to opt for companies that offer full-size or large products, rather than tiny plastic or foil-wrapped samples, to cut down on waste materials. Boxes are often so gorgeous that they make great keepsakes for stashing jewellery or other storage items, too. Some services will allow you to tailor what you receive, and you should be able to choose one-off boxes or a subscription service at various lengths, which makes them great for gifts, as well!
