Ben-Haim co-directed Paris Paloma’s the warmth video alongside Beau Pritchard-James, blending fire and water in a video that goes back to the basics – literally. “The interaction between the light of the fire and the water’s reflections and splashes came together with such energy,” he details. “For the fire elements, an incredibly experienced SFX team helped us create that bold final look in the video.” A fire marshal also oversaw the shoot, ensuring that ‘everything we were doing was safe’. On this particular project, Ben-Haim borrowed his kit from CineAero, which specialises in aerial filming. “CineAero

provided us with an amazing monitoring set-up and RF equipment,” he recalls, “which allowed the collaboration between myself and Simon Van Parijs, our DOP, to be clear and confident.” The monitor also helped Ben-Haim easily share notes with Paloma’s label, which was present during the shoot – standard practice in music video production. The result is a film based around abstract visuals, heightening the sensory experience of the warmth , a folksy song

that draws inspiration from artists like AURORA and Florence and the Machine. Commissioned and delivered in less than three weeks, the video’s high-pressure process was “all the more rewarding when we saw how much Paris’ fans enjoyed it on release,” Ben-Haim beams.
