Cameras IMAGING TECHNOLOGY CONTINUES to march forward at a prodigious pace, and performance – whether you are shooting at super-high ISO speeds or tackling challenging, quick-moving subjects – continues to impress. With the changing face of the camera market, our awards have evolved to reflect what is happening in the real world. So, for the first time there is no DSLR camera category. While many DSLR users exist, the fact is that major camera brands have not introduced new models for some time and are unlikely do so in the foreseeable future. It was a tough call, but ultimately, we think, the right one. But, in addition to the range of Micro Four Thirds, APS-C, 35mm full-frame and medium format cameras, we do have categories for two growth sectors: instant cameras and those with serious video specification.
