Caira-fully does it Fix your iPhone to the MagSafe mount and you’re ready to shoot. Then edit the video on your phone using voice commands

We tried the system at the brand’s offices in London, starting with a video through a window towards St Pancras station, shot by CEO Vishal Kumar. Using voice commands, the original clip was transformed into what looked like a dramatic, drone-style move, pushing through the scene and zooming towards the station’s famous clock tower. This would be impossible to capture with a real drone in, as it’s a no-fly zone. Another edit transformed the daytime view of St Pancras into a day-to-night video

sequence, with car lights turning on and windows in buildings becoming illuminated. A third version effectively shifted the clock again, relighting the footage with the warmer tones of golden hour. The camera can change how you might think on location. A solo shooter creating YouTube, TikTok or Instagram content could capture a relatively simple shot and then quickly experiment with different versions, without waiting hours for the sun to move or organising an elaborate camera move.

There are limits. Generative results won’t always withstand scrutiny, and experienced filmmakers will spot moments when reality is stretched a little too enthusiastically. But Caira is aimed at creators who need to shoot, edit and publish quickly, without a crew, for smartphone-screen consumption. It’s £755 body-only and £904 with a Panasonic Lumix 25mm f⁄1.7 lens, so you have to add your own phone, and there are additional subscription models for various AI services. n cameraintelligence.com
