ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
15 years of CAMBRIDGE Inspired by this special anniversary of Cambridge Edition , Charlotte Griffiths takes a journey through time, exploring milestone moments from the past 15 years in our city. How many can you remember?
April 2011 Cambridge Edition launches! Your comprehensive guide to life in Cambridge and beyond is born: the first issue is sent off to the printers from its home just south of the city in the village of Sawston, where it’s still created to this day.
February 2012 The very first Raspberry Pi computers go on sale! This Cambridge-grown phenomenon was designed to provide people with stripped-back computing capabilities and help beginners learn to code – and sold a million units by October 2013! The company now estimates total sales at 75 million of the iconic tiny computers – another local success story.
