Accessibility remained at the heart of the event, with British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters, lipspeakers and trained guides available to help ensure everyone could participate and enjoy the experience. Deafblind UK is celebrating the success of its Rainbow Run, which took place at Ferry Meadows, Nene Park in Peterborough this September. More than 300 runners, walkers and supporters took part in the colourful 3k and 5k routes, raising over £10,000 to support people living with combined sight and hearing loss. The family-friendly event brought together people of all ages and abilities for a day filled with colour, community spirit and fun. Participants charged through bursting clouds of bright powder paint, ending up crossing the finish
at Deafblind UK. “A big thank you to everyone who took part, as well as our local charity partners and event sponsors.”
