Taking place 12-23 November, the 12th edition of the Cambridge Jazz Festival will present more than 40 events across two weeks, turning venues throughout Cambridge and the surrounding area into stages for international stars, acclaimed British musicians, adventurous new voices and the city’s own thriving jazz community. Leading this year’s programme is a remarkable line-up of internationally acclaimed artists, including soulful singer Lizz Wright, cellist Shirley Smart and saxophonists Art Themen (pictured), Andy Sheppard, Jean Toussaint and Josephine Davies, as well as Cambridge favourites The Brass Funkeys. cambridgejazzfestival.info
