FLOATWELL OPENS!

Floatwell, a new wellness retreat, has recently opened its doors on Station Road, offering visitors a range of relaxing treatments and rejuvenating experiences. Inside the ivy- clad Victorian villa, there’s a gorgeously refurbished, multi- level space where you can try top-of-the-range floatation pods. Let your worries drift away and enjoy benefits including reduced stress and muscle tension, improved sleep and recovery, joint pain relief and intense relaxation. There’s also an innovative sauna that uses infrared lamps to warm your body directly, enabling you to enjoy the benefits of a traditional sauna without the intense heat – so you can bask for a little longer. Another hi-tech addition to the centre is the super-cool AI massage chair, which scans your body to identify areas of tension, then gives you a tailored massage. Upstairs, there are a range of different yoga classes to enjoy, and more traditional 60-90 minute massages with dry floatation pods coming soon.
