We take a look back at some of the highlights from last month’s TTP Cambridge Half Marathon Born to run!
O n 5 March, thousands of runners hit the city streets for the 2023 TTP Cambridge Half Marathon. Despite the cold weather, support was strong for the runners, who weaved their way through town before heading out to Grantchester and circling back for a triumphant finish along Victoria Avenue. Adam Moffat, event director, comments: “The 2023 TTP Cambridge Half Marathon was another huge success, with over 11,000 participants taking on the iconic route. It was our most sustainable to date, as we
removed up to 80,000 single-use plastic bottles from the event. We are also extremely proud to have had an all-female pacing crew to support and guide our athletes around the course. “We would like to thank all of our partners, volunteers and runners for their outstanding support,” he continues, “and we look forward to announcing details for the 2024 race very soon.”
