Support continues into the post-production phase with precise camera tracking and lens metadata recording, which helps with extending sets and easily adding CGI effects. Looking to the future, Ten Dots plans to enhance its services through continued investment in the latest hardware and software, working in close collaboration with market leaders like INFiLED, Mo-Sys and NovaStar. “We are proud to work closely with some of the best software developers in the field like Chaos and Assimilate, helping them to create and enhance VP software tools,” adds Gradinarov. “Our plans include expanding our studio facilities to a larger LED volume with higher resolution and better colour representation – and to update our workflow with the most advanced tools for real-time graphics visualisation.” A cornerstone of the studio’s strategy is the implementation of SMPTE ST 2110 technology, significantly enhancing its video production capabilities. “We are working hard to position virtual production as the bespoke choice for directors and DOPs,” he concludes. “And we’re cultivating partnerships with educational institutions to create future talents in filmmaking and tech, ensuring continued evolution and innovation in the virtual production sector.”

For example, for the Leone commercial, we employed a mixed green/blue screen alongside ICVFX shooting, saving time and effort by not being forced to move from LED to green-screen studios. Ten Dots’ contributions were crucial across these projects, affirming our ability to navigate diverse creative challenges and deliver exceptional results.”
