Broncolor Siros 400 S

Elinchrom ELC 500

With settings controlled via the Broncontrol app thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity, the Siros 400S is as sleek to operate as it is to look at. Providing a 400WS output, with 0.1EV control across its 9EV power range, it’s an extremely capable device that provides support for flash

durations down to a superb 1/8500sec. It also boasts HSS shooting. A compatible radio trigger enables wireless triggering, and there’s a 300W modelling light, too. A pleasing selection of modifiers are available that give light shaping a professional look.

With a power range that stretches from 7Ws to a massive 522Ws, including options for HSS up to 1/8000sec and stroboscopic flash, the ELC 500 offers sublime control. A fast 1.2sec recycle speed at full power, as well as an effective cooling system, means the head takes hard usage firmly in its stride. It includes an LED light with an output of 3000 lumens, and the ELC 500’s Elinchrom Skyport system provides wireless triggering at range. Chuck in a mount that provides access to one of the best ranges of lighting modifiers around, and you have a very competitive flash head for its price.
