Stoke College S U F F O L K
toke College is a happy, vibrant and inclusive school for children from reception age to sixth form, providing day and boarding places. We have a refreshing approach to education, focused on providing a caring and inspiring environment where children love to learn and where achievement in all areas is encouraged and celebrated. Children here are busy and happy, and they become confident in everything they do. They look forward to coming to school where learning is fun and everyone is valued. We welcome children from a wide ability range and it is notable that the school’s GCSE results have risen sharply again this year: 93% of pupils achieved five A* to C. Close working relationships with excellent teaching staff allow pupils to make strong progress. Our small class sizes benefit pupils of all abilities and we are particularly pleased that pupils at both ends of the academic spectrum exceed national expectations. We welcome all pupils to board, whether it be for the occasional night or seven nights a week. Day pupils benefit from being able to arrive early, leave late or even stay the night. At weekends they can join in with the fun trips programme of our full-time boarders. Each and every child in the school is taught according to their needs and abilities, ensuring their personal talents are nurtured and that they achieve at the very highest level of which they are capable. This is not just in academic studies but in the arts, technologies and sport, developing their communication and life skills at every stage of their education. Stoke College is proud of its beautiful and historic setting on the borders of Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. It has an extremely positive learning environment set in 29 acres of parkland, where
